Floor2: 1x dark tpa and 4+ combo, or 1x light tpa and 5+ combo.
Floor3: 1x dark tpa and 3+ combo, or 2x light tpa and 6+ combo.
Floor4: 1x dark tpa and 5+ combo (and a light tpa will definitely secure it).
Floor5: 2x dark tpa and 5+ combo (a noctis skill will do), or 1x dark tpa+ 1x light tpa and 6+ combo.
Floor6 (boss): 2x dark tpa and 6+ combo with enhance, (8+ dark orbs and sephiroth skill), or 3x dark tpa + 1x light tpa and 6+ combo without enhance.
Health is enough. DON't ever use Lightning or Yuna skill; they aren't necessary and are a waste of time.
Boards generally grant 46 combos.
Rely on both Noctis(s) basically, because they have devil killers... Never match more than 4 dark orbs in a line.
Bosses talk for a total of like one minute... so troll.
Edit: above is basically all the possible OHKO blows you could do. There are certain niches, e.g. when you do just 2x dark tpa + 1 light tpa and 5 combos will leave floor 5 at 10%, but adding a water combo would kill it...
As for Cecil skill, if you choose to use it early, you are gambling your luck to get 48 dark orbs when entering boss floor, which is entirely fine (the thing is improve or nothing anyways). A Cecil skill, as long as it generates more than 4 dark/light/heart orbs each, but less than dark orbs, will let you OHKO the boss when used with Noctis + Enhance. When luck permits, make a natural 6 combo to OHKO the boss. 2 seconds (skill use time) is about 2000 points, which makes the difference.
Last Note: Making more combos takes time, combo animation takes time, and skyfalls take even more time. Please decide whether you are going for consistent high combos or a fast clear.
Some times marks to consider for high percentile:
Floor 1 finish: 288s;
Floor 2 finish: 275s;
Floor 3 talks too much...;
Floor 4 finish: 220s;
Floor 5 finish: 185s (he talks for 10s jeez);
Boss 6 finish: 150s.
This will yield above 20%, even when avg. combo is lower than 5.0.
I've run this thing for about a hundred times now on main and alt... So i'm pretty confident of the analysis.
I imagine the crown to be 5.5+ combos and 155 seconds left, and the standards are only getting higher... I prefer just to finish and rerun the thing for a possible overall smoother run (i.e. never get orb trolled all along).
Yeah, I'm sitting steady at 27ish % with 99,000 points. Trying to stay above 40% because of Quest.
