Rather than downvote, I will explain: Monsters save the number of awakenings stored on them, and they carry over when you evolve. So, by feeding 8 to the main card, it stores that it has 8 awakenings, and when you evolve it, the card is max awoken. Same deal for any monster, as long as awakenings are available at that evolutionary level.

@cam : You need to evo athena before feeding her dupes which MUST be evolved as well (doesn't matter if you don't uevo them all), awakenings will only increase once she is evolved, the way she drops from her descended has no awakenings at all.

I tried this when Ult. Evo'ing my Athena and it didn't take. Of course, I didn't get any skill ups either. Currently 1/16.

Was gunna evo my Sonia Gran but I'll do the same for her.

Funny how they look more loving BEFORE the uevo.

I wouldn't use piis for anything I could farm skill-ups for. The exception to that is if I use the card VERY often and I'm one level away from max. And I'm impatient on top of that.

Long-term, it makes far more sense to use the Piis on subs whose only source of skill-boosting is dupes, like any of the Grimoire girls. Golden Girls? Gilmore Girls? Which do I do a fanart spoof of? D: But seriously, save the Piis for the cards that are hard to find sill-ups for. You'll be glad you did later - 2.5x skillup chance means farming for skillups isn't half as irritating as before.
