9 By psyduck/r#36299 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) 4 tpas, 8 heads one prong of the tpa per head tons of damage Last edited by psyduck/r 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) 16 I'd like to point out, you can add attack plus eggs. 0 Vntheo#72750 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) I called it. Except I didn't think that the hp would be that high -2 6328.125 damage for 4 orbs. 5 Enhance Tamas make it 7593.75. Per. Monster. For 4. Try 2 sets of 4, 1500*5.0625*5.0625 = 38443.359375. This is before leader skills. 8 By K¡ngSwi$ha#8049 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) Told myself I wouldn't awaken my Orochi bc I had already maxxed skilled him, so the REM Gods smiled down upon me. Of all the golden eggs likely to fall out that dragon's gut, I couldn't be more blissfully dumbfounded than with another little eight-headed demon viper. Thank you, Memorial REM. I promise to snicker at all of Hera's preemptives and respond with 8 prongs of fury. 6 By Sir Kyle#67208 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) YES!! With that leader skill, now I can finally see what it feels like to beat Wednesday Room of the Mask - Int. Can't wait. 0 This kid didn't get the sarcastic comment. Now I've got a new leader for my Blodin and Chrono Turtle to search for Izanami users on a road to everlasting friendship 3 By BSG-Jay#10401 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) for everyone saying "he only has 1,000 atk" remember, for every prong that's 1.5 for 4 orbs, that's also an addition 1.25x damage for the 4 orbs, so it'd be 1000*1.5*1.5*1.5*1.5*1.25, that comes out to 6328 atk for clearing just 4 orbs. This guy puts out tremendous amounts of damage, it fits into many teams as a sub or a leader and it also has really low cost at 30. 13 If you cant get a tpa you are either a noob (and will get better) or you just suck (and should consider playing candy crush) -3 Chinny#61703 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) In other words, he's only as powerful as the player is skilled at setting up TPAs. 2 By nturtle#21208 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) If you rate those awakenings anything other than 10 you're wrong son, just wrong. 2 By Chibi Derp#69817 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Prong Calculator for Awoken Orochi Awoken Orochi base attack: 1000 Awoken Orochi base attack with prongs: 5063 Awoken Orochi with +297 attack: 1495 Awoken Orochi with +297 attack with prongs: 7568 Awoken Orochi +297 attack and all attack potential awakenings: 1545 Awoken Orochi +297 attack and all attack potential awakenings with prongs: 7822 Keep in mind, it's only the possibility that you only get one 2 By epharian#68164 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Is no one going to talk about the fact that for him and another lead, the TPAs mean that at 8 combos he's doing 81x damage from a single TPA. That means 8 combos is going to hit REALLY hard. 1 By Greg!#39904 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) Should've been Awoken Shiva to be the first Quadonger :( but I guess since Orochi's got eight heads, it fits him more. As a Leader, this guy is pretty much a very safe x4 Leader. Skuld, Summer Urd, W/D Karin, and Blonia (though she doesn't have TPA's) are this guy's best friends. Activating them for a whole board change on the boss floor makes comboing above 8 potentially easier. Just match 3's or 4's to activate Orochi's multiplier, and the scrumptious TPA's. Other subs would be... • Ult. Blodin for more TPA scrumptiousness • Awoken Lakshmi or Schoolgirl Isis to get health above 50% as a safety button • Aquaman or Creuse for burst if needed • Pirate Gronia and Awoken Haku, though off-color main element, for another whole board change • U&Y, B/D Hermes, Reine, Hatsune, Rei, Merlin, and Nut for quick orb changers with TPA 5 Eric#42341 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) My reaction is that I wouldn't want to use dual Awoken Orochi's to lead, since you only get the resolve LS skill once anyway. I would probably pair with Skuld and put as many B/G monsters on the team as possible. That would give you high rcv that would allow you to cheese dungeons that don't have a large number of multihits. You can survive forever as long as you can heal to at least 50% of your rcv after every hit, which shouldn't be difficult to do with Skuld's rcv multiplier. 1 By Alf#21968 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Orochi x bastet, green / blue team, massive damage + perseverance. Sounds like a good no dupes team to me 0 DLish#34744 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Was just thinking that myself. Pair my Awoken Bastet with this dude for those annoying times when there are huge preemptives. Since he is green he still gets her boost and his boost is not color dependent. Just have to watch out for the loss of poison and skill block awakenings. 1 By Legend7Nat#59948 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) So let me get this straight His other skill force delays 5 turns and max cd 20 New awaken form but change skill to a 4 turn delay and lower max cd by 5 turns Now players forget about the awakenings art skill and whatnot but only focus on his active... Based on the active is it a worthwhile trade in case somebody wasted a max skilled 5 turn delay to trade for a default cd of a 4 turn delay but same cd as a max skill 5 delay yet now you need blupys to max skill it again Is it truly worth it based only on active nothing else of it 2 It's not just the ratios though. Unless you're stalling out status ailments or waiting for skills to return from cooldown, you should be able to kill an enemy in 2-3 turns max. 5 turn delay is usually overkill, even 4 turn is pushing it. So, if you accept that anything over 3 turns of delay is usually a waste, really what you're looking at is a reduction in cooldown on the delay which is, of course, awesome. 2 You don't need it. 4 and 5 turn delays are straight over kill. Awoken Orochi active is actually super weak. Long long CD and status shields are abundant. If it had a haste component it would be much better but as it is now it's very lackluster 1 Butters@PG#31239 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Regular Orochi 5 turn delay with 25 turn cool down No Skill Ups 5 to 25 ratio which equals 0.2 turn delay per 1 turn cool down Max Skill 5 to 20 ratio which equals 0.25 turn delay per 1 turn cool down Awoken Orochi 4 turn delay with 19 turn cool down No Skill Ups 4 to 19 ratio which equals 0.21 turn delay per 1 turn cool down Max Skill 4 to 15 ratio which equals 0.27 turn delay per 1 turn cool down Just for fun Echidna 3 turn delay for 15 turn cool down No Skill Ups 3 to 15 ratio which equals 0.2 turn delay per 1 turn cool down Max Skill 3 to 10 ratio which equals 0.3 turn delay per 1 turn cool down 0 You're missing something a little bit important - larger delays let you get skills back up. For example, if you burst kill a boss, then delay the next boss with echidna, your 5 turn skills will not come back up before they get to attack. with a 4 turn delay, they will. Further example, if you burst a boss on a neptune dragon team, you can hit a 4 turn delay, and two neptune dragons, and you'll have 9 turn skills back up (skuld + water valk, summer urd + andromeda, andromeda + water valk, etc). With a turn 5 delay and a single neptune dragon, you can get andromeda + water valk back up. Both are good though. 1 By TrueDragon#60089 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Anyone ever think of Folklore (1458) as a sub? If the dungeon permits (aka no pre-empts afterward), you can take advantage of resolve on purpose and then have a bigger multiplier. 3 Turn cooldown with haste being a thing means you can switch back basically instantly, even. Example Team would be something like: Awoken Orochi Lead Awoken Karin Awoken Karin Mystic Pentad Dragon, Folklore Apex Blue Flower Dragon, Starling Awoken Orochi Friend Leader Both the Karin actives and Starling will deny heart orbs for the most part so as not to lose your big multiplier, plus two delays for safety. You can make either rows or TPA and do some nice damage. Plus, using a Karin or two allows you to switch back in either 1 or 2 turns. Edit: There would be other subs like Sub Quan, or even Draggie for spike, the team is just an example. Last edited by TrueDragon 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) 1 By Chrono#40569 2 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) 6144 HP with +297 and 5 HP latents... Even RaDra is jealous! 0 Lil'Chizzy#79220 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 ) Not sure if they increased A Orochi's hp since this post but +297 and 5 hp latents would be (1 + 0.015*5)*5090 + 990 = 6462 hp. 0 By aszma#31409 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) Two things i dont like about this guy but this is just my two cents 1. the fact that he has a very low base attack combined with 4 TPAs means that if you dont hit your tpa your gonna be doing very little damage making him really reliant on tpas compared to mons like athena or vishnu that have very respectable attack where youd still go for tpas but if you couldn't get one youd still do decent damage. 2. Because you have 4 awoken skill slots for tpas we lose out on the chances for having other awakenings that could be more useful such as skill blocks or poison resists something a resolve team would rather have. 5 Just giving him +700 attack would also put his weighted stat total to 903.00, above even the (quite broken) Vegito, though. That's a little much for a 3pronger. As is, he gives 2165 (!) more hp than Liu Bei, and only has 101 less rcv - weighted, that's a 182.84 stat advantage for Orochi, and that's ignoring the fact he actually hits harder when fully plussed. The 'you must TPA' caveat he's tagged with is an interesting way to balance his insane effective stats, IMO. If they do need to buff him, I hope they fix his skill. 11 turns + 1 haste would be so much more attractive, even if it were a 2 or even 1 turn delay. 3 Sigismond0#65660 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) Yeah, sure. And then you'd have to lose *1400* HP to balance his stats out. I'm not willing to trade 1400 HP for an extra utility awaken. 0 Dawn#72866 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) 4 tpa is 5.0625, his hp is great in addition to that, and his rcv looks very skuldable to me. I like the look of this guy. 0 true didnt really think about it too much when i replied to eric was just trynna get the general point across -2 Eric#58349 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) He puts out almost the same damage as liu bei (little bit more, even). He has 1000 attack. Liu bei has 1700. In other words, that one tpa is worth about 700 attack. -2 yea and what im saying is that if he had 1700 base attack instead and only 3 tpas with the forth being replaced by some other awakening he would be way better 0 By Blunts@PG#66321 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) wow coming back to this game from when kirin was the best. power creep is sooooooo real. 0 By LK4GANESHA#30974 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) with +99 attack he has slightly more damage on a tpa than a +99 vishnuu, the strongest 3-prong monster -1 Lucario#58942 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Just slightly, and if you take Vishnu's sub attribute into account, the total damage dealt by Vishnu would be slightly higher than him if only main attribute are matched. 0 By PLW#77682 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) With a 4 turn delay and a max CD of 15 does that mean that with at least 4 an a team you could infinitely delay? 5 jellykid#37014 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) Cannot delay the same monster twice without getting hit. For example, if an enemy is on a 2-turn timer and you delay 4 turns, you have to wait 6 turns, then get hit, and delay again. 0 By Chinny#61703 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) And here we see GungHo reviving some of the earliest playstyles. Odin Dragon for Damage Resist teams, and this guy for high-spec Zombie teams. 0 By ILoveFood#77837 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) yay, no more dq hera preemptive instant ko anymore. I've always hated that. instead of 5 turns, it is now 4 turns but it is 15 turns though. pretty good. and good hp. 0 By Dk.General#67867 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) IMO, i think the one with the circular crest on its head should be the thumbnail pic. 0 By Flandre#29730 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) What about synergy with Awoken Lakshmi? 1 Guest#41171 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) At the moment, he would only be situational at best. Lakshmi can already stall through everything with her massive HP+RCV multiplier+drains+army of heart makers. Besides that, Lakshmi is still heavily row-based due to her ideal subs leaning that way. He's worth a slot if you don't have cards with better actives but, far from being great. Last edited by N/A 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) 0 By Brandon#16125 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) Need an Okami Collab now. Even though we already have Amaterasu. I wouldn't be able to make this guy. Getting Tengu is rather difficult for me. Last edited by Brandon 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) 0 By TrueDragon#60089 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) I wish he had god typing to use with Ra. But, fill him with + atk eggs and + atk of the silver navi tamas (or whatever they are) and prepare for him to do some serious damage. 0 By Fausto#40736 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) Hmm, what to pair this guy with? Awoken Karin? Skuld? Blonia? Blodin? I can't wait to try out all the teams! 0 By Guest#76978 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) This guy just appears in the majority of teams that beat the latest challenge lv10 in JP. And it proves again that Gungho can generate the need so easily ~.~ 0 By Jayhawker#78366 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) I don't even know what to say about 4 TPAs... would be so sick with my Blonia Bodin team.... one can only hope. 0 By Illucio#73015 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Just rolled him today what I'm doing for a team: Leader: Umi Yami Subs: Umi Yami A. Orochi Famiel Blue Odin All orb changers, and then Umi for delay. The ultimate damage inducing water team in terms of prongs. 0 Vayoran#93711 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 ) Umi doesn't have a delay does he? Did you mean Orochi? Also, I know that she wasn't out when you made this post but Scheat would make an excellent addition to this team if you had her 0 By Shazzy@/r#77955 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) I feel like all the series of gods that get "Awoken" Uvos lose their god type. Is this true? I could be wrong. It feels like a good balance, though. 1 foxwaffles#54418 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Most of them do. An Awoken evolution's tying is completely dependent on its materials. Hence why Haku randomly become God/Healer and Karin randomly has Attacker type. Materials however have no say on attributes, just typing. Awoken Parvati and Lakshmi still preserve their god typing for example. 0 Actually they do. The main/sub attributes are always determined by the materials, albeit at random. Parvati pairs the Wood of Cauchemar with the Wood of Cu Chu, while Lakshmi pairs the Water of Noah with the Water of Buster Siegfried. 0 Triple Typing is only suitable for Super-Ultimate-Evolutions. And Awoken-Evolution is different from Super-Ultimate-Evolution. The (only) examples of Super-Ultimate are the 5 Valkyries, Kirin (Sakuya), Umisachi+Yamasachi and Kushinadahime. I don't see Triple Typing for Awoken Gods anytime soon. 0 By -Striku-#37071 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) I just realized something. If you take Orochi into an Ultimate Rush dungeon... ...King Fatty can't kill him. 0 By Kindren#78725 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Went looking to see if someone had a better delay than Echidna. 4 turn delay is pretty awesome, but at a 15 turn cool down it is less feasible. Echidna's is pretty perfectly timed because 10 rounds is the length of many hard dungeons. I can't argue with 4 TPAs though. 0 By coltaine#61377 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) I got really sad when I realized that he won't get a bonus from Muse when he's on my Skuld team :( 0 By Kirito#46338 2 years ago ( 8.7.0 ) What kind of skills are people transferring to Orochi? Last edited by Kirito 2 years ago ( 9.0.3 ) 0 dpr#84781 2 years ago ( 9.0.3 ) Would it be crazy to transfer hatsumis dark to water? She is max skilled on my A Laskshmi team (one of my two strongest teams). Once I get Orochi to his Awoken evo, she is the card I have to replace to include A Orochi. Thoughts? 0 Nah dude, you'll be losing Orochi's main role: Delay. I kinda don't like giving "key units" an extra skill, unless it's a duplicate/similar skill. If you give Orochi an Orb Change skill, you'll be missing out on a Delay if you wait it out too long. This could very well determine your fate in a crucial part during your runs. Examples of "Key Units": Orochi for Delay Awoken Sun Quan for Delay + Burst Awoken Isis for Bind Clear and Damage Reduction Awoken Indra for Damage Reduction D.Kali for Whole Board Change Awoken Ra for Defense-Ignoring Nuke If you happen to roll duplicates of these units, I'd suggest inheriting their own respective Skill. This gets rid of the need to give them Skill-Delay Resist Latents! Either that, or you could give them a skill that's similar or similarly-superior (is that a thing) to theirs. An example would be giving D.Kali the skill of Ichigo, since Ichigo has an additional Time Extend. That's if you have a dupe Ichigo lol. But I guess, in the end, it's up to the player's team and playstyle. If you really think your team needs an additional orb changer at the risk of losing your Delay, then Hatsume wouldn't be a bad choice. But I highly suggest that you keep your Orochi as is! Last edited by Greg! 2 years ago ( 9.0.3 ) -2 By El Niño#51227 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) I think they should replace one of its TPA awakenings with an anti skill bind and then raise its attack. Anti skill bind is very important these days. -2 By Wooz#33436 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) THIS IS GOOD FOR A KIRIN TEAM. NOW YOU CAN USE KIRIN/AWOKEN OROCHI/ KALI/ VERCHE/ ECHIDNA/KIRIN. before you needed a green so you had to use valkyrie INSTEAD OF VERCHE, VERCHE BETTER FOR KALI. now that orochi is green it allows for more versatility Last edited by Wooz 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) 2 Clefspeare#28839 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) You do realize that Kirin's ult ult will be coming before this with a green sub-type and a tpa, right? -3 By nathan@N17#37737 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) I wish people would shut the f*** up about his base attack (-_-) . Tpa, that's all you gotta do. Just tpa -1 Chibi Derp#69817 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) The issue with it is that for being the first card with 4 tpas, it's disappointing seeing how cards like G/R Liu Bei is easier to get (in terms of evo material) lacks one tpa of Orochi, yet unless on different terms, Liu bei still hits harder. Same appiles to Ult Vishu, Satsuki and Kanna (harder to get because GF exclusives but besides the point), Ult Set (Japan only at the time), chibi rodin, and Awoken Hino Kagutsuchi (still easier in a sense of less evo materials technically needed, and Tengu is harder to get than Izanami and doesn't need to be ult evoed unlike tengu, and if you have Beyzul, that means you can get Wangren). The point was that due to all the hard hitting 3 tpa cards, its sad when with an extra prong, his base attack state is inferior. If there is a buff, Orochi well be an amazing card, but for now, it's one of the weakest awoken cards, and highly disappointing. -4 By Legend7Nat#59948 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) Good luck using this team against wadatsumi descended or any other dungeon with awoken skill disabled -5 By Tim#30376 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) So with 3 max skill A.Orochi and 3 max skill elemental (Thanatos, genie, etc) you can be totally invulnerable to an enemy assuming they match the elemental negation you pick, don't use poison and you can make your way to the end without any big issues. 4 turn delay, 3 turn negate, 4 turn delay, 3 turn negate (first delay up again), delay, negate, repeat cycle. Has someone thought about this before? Probably. Would you be insane to try it? Definitely. Last edited by Tim 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) |

A 2/4/2 team means one leader boosts HP and ATK by 2 and the other one boosts RCV and ATK by 2 (resulting in 4x ATK)
